A wonderful sepia study of a steep waterfall, painted in the style of the French artist Simeon Fort (1793-1861). Amongst the detailed scene of trees, rocks, and water, a figure can be seen crossing a questionable bridge at the top of the falls. Unsigned. Well presented in a crisp white mount and natural wood frame. On paper.
