A very fine late 19th Century landscape in watercolour, depicting a group of well-dressed figures at the bottom of a hill, with a far-reaching view to rolling hills and a cottage. Inscribed to the lower right 'Hill House, July 18th'. Well-presented in a Hogarth style black frame with gilt details, as shown. Unsigned and inscribed. On wove.

Condition

In very good condition overall, with some discolouration commensurate with the age of the work. The frame has only minor scuffing to the corners.
