A charming nativity scene depicting the three kings bearing gifts for the infant Jesus Christ. The composition is loosely based on Lorenzo Sabatini's (1530-1576) adoration scene where the men and their camels are depicted under classical architecture. Unsigned. Presented in a varnished oak frame with a gilt slip. On paper.
Condition
There is significant creasing to the paper and a major repaired tear to the upper right. There is even distribution of foxing and discolouration across the scene. There is light wear and scuffing to the frame.
