A delightful early 19th-century graphite portrait of a young Mrs Hambly in her finery. An inscription verso states that the subject of the portrait (Mrs Hambly) was the sister of Mary Anne Tocker, otherwise known as the 'First Female Lawyer'. Unsigned. Inscribed verso.
