Ferruccio Vitale (1875-1933) - Early 20th Century Oil Jolly Lady In A Headscarf
Description
A characterful oil portrait showing a very happy elderly woman in a vibrant red headscarf and blue jacket. The artist has captured lovely pockets of colour in her rosy cheeks and pink lips. The artist has signed to the lower right corner.
The painting has been framed in a light wood frame with a wide cove and bead and reel strapwork and a gilt effect inner slip.
The painting has a pair (product number QD781) of an elderly man, smile and reading a paper. Both paintings have been identically framed and would make a wonderful pair.
On canvas.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is slight wear to the paint at the stretcher line.
