Felix Meert - Signed Original 19th Century Oil. Signed to the lower right, presented in an impressive gilt frame with leaf design. Signed. On canvas. Canvas is a little slack with some discoloured varnish and surface dirt and areas of light surface scuffing, mainly to the water in the foreground. A few areas of very tiny, stabilised craquelure - paint layer is stable. Inspection under UV light shows no signs of restoration. Frame has some wear to the slip and a few small losses to the decoration, but generally the appearance is good.
