This autumnal landscape by American artist Evelyn Parker depicts a seasonal valley painted in an impasto style, with warming shades of orange, yellow and green. The artist has signed to the lower left-hand corner, and the painting is well presented in a contemporary gilt frame. Fixed to the reverse is an artist's label. On board.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some even discolouration caused by a buildup of surface dirt and nicotine. There is a discoloured mark visible in the top left-hand quadrant, possibly caused by a small amount of paint loss.
