Artist Biography
Eugen von Warun-Sekret was a Russian-German painter (1896-1963) known for his genre, animal, and landscape paintings, as well as Orientalist works. He studied at the Kiev Academy, Odessa, the Städelsches Kunstinstitut in Frankfurt, and in Paris. He also received commissions from the Yugoslavian royal family and taught art to the Queen.
