Artist Biography
Ethel Mallinson specialised in landscapes and townscapes in watercolour and showed twice with the Yorkshire Union of Artists, towards the end of the 19th century. She also exhibited at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Scottish Academy of Painters in Watercolour. She was a member of the Leeds Fine Artists Club and was its Secretary for 40 years, from 1908 to 1948.
