Painter, born at Shardlow, Derbyshire, who attended Derby School of Art. He was employed as a designer at the local porcelain works in Derby, and also taught at the School of Art there. He is known to have exhibited at the Nottingham Society of Artists whose shows were held in Nottingham Castle Museum.
