A fine mid-19th century watercolour depicting the town of Warwick on the River Avon. In the foreground the artist has captured two fishermen with cattle nearby. Further to the background stands Warwick famous 12th century castle, hidden behind castle bridge. The watercolour has been inscribed by the artist and dated 1856 to the lower edge. Well-presented in a smart gilt-effect frame with a custom mount. On paper.
