Light discolouration to the varnish and minor abrasions throughout. There is a small loss to the upper left edge. Inspection under UV light reveals small areas of overpainting, notably to the face. The frame shows signs of wear consistent with age, including scuffs, chips and indentations. The frame has undergone previous restoration work, including fills to the inner running pattern.
