A view of beached boats at the hamlet of Pin Mill, situated on the south bank of the tidal River Orwell in Suffolk. The cloudy sky is particularly well-executed, adding an atmospheric sense of volatility to the scene. Presented in a gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed to the lower-right edge. Inscribed with the location on the verso. On board.

Condition

There is some slight surface dirt and discolouration to the varnish. There are some small marks and scuffs to the frame. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
