Exhibited: the Royal Academy 1965, no 383. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
Condition
Very minor surface abrasion consistent with age. There is a small white stain to the top right-hand side and two further white stains falling over the mother's right-hand shoulder. Overall, the artwork presents in very good condition.
