Artist Biography
Eleanor Scarfe (1911-1992), wife of multidisciplinary artist Laurence Scarfe, was an eminent painter, printmaker and textile artist in her own right, graduating from Brighton College of Art before teaching Drawing and Tapestry at Goldsmiths College. She exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, Royal Academy and Bankside Gallery, London.
