Description
A vibrant 20th-century etching with hand colouring of a vase of peonies by the printmaker and painter Jenny Devereaux. She etches directly onto copper plates and prints onto fine Japanese paper. She then hand-colours each image, resulting in a unique final product. Signed to the lower right. Numbered 95/250. Well presented in a wash frame. On paper.Condition
Overall the artwork is in good condition. Minor foxing and light dirtying to the paper. Some wear to the frame, including minor scuffs and marks.

Artist Biography
Artist in watercolour and printmaker and first wife of artist and poet Bob Devereux. Jenny helped run the Salt House Gallery, St Ives, founded by her husband and showed there and at the Penwith Gallery. Self-taught, Jenny's floral etchings have, over the years, become widely known. She regularly shows at the CCA Galleries.
