Edmund Morison Wimperis (1835-1900) - Original Mid 19th Century Watercolour. With body colours. An excellent painting depicting a woman standing in the doorway of a cottage. There is an additional watercolour study on the reverse depicting a child carrying hay. Monogrammed in the lower left. In a washline mount measuring (42 x 37 cm). Signed with monogram. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some mild discolouration. There is also some discolouration to the mount.Size
