The composition employs loose, impressionistic brushwork to capture the dappled light and earthy tones of the rural setting. Well presented in a gilt-effect frame. Signed lower right. On canvas.

Condition

Fine craquelure observed to the lower third. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of previous restoration. The canvas has been previously relined. The frame has minor surface wear. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
