A lake scene at Cwm-y-Glo in North Wales, possibly at the edge of the glacially formed lake Llyn Padarn. A figure in red stands on a jetty beside a rowing boat in the foreground. Presented glazed in a washline mount and a gilt frame with leaf and berry detailing to the edge. The location, an indistinct signature, and an indistinct date are inscribed to the verso on a label that was cut from the original backing paper of the frame and reapplied to the board. On watercolour paper.
Condition
There is some mild discolouration to the painting and some areas of restoration to the moulding on the frame, primarily to the corners. Overall in good condition.
