L.J. Webster - Original Early 20th Century Album. A substantial album belonging to artist designer LJ Webster. This appears to be the designer's working sample book. Dozens of printed vintage packaging label designs are stuck in the scrap book, presumed to be designed by Webster (based on the original artwork in our collection), although this cannot be verified. Images are featured on 72 pages, and there are an additional number of blank pages. Towards the end of the book are some graphite drawings. The inside cover has a label dated 1914 and also a document with the artist's name dated 1924. Webster was seemingly based in the Leicester area.
