A very delicate and well-painted silhouette from the early 19th century. The painter has included fine details in darker ink on top of the silhouette. Presented in a papier mache frame with brass inner window and brass acorn leaf hanger. Unsigned. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some very minor foxing. Overall the condition is very good. There are some scuffs to the frame and the acorn hanger is slightly loose.
