Description

A delicate watercolour and bodycolour study of a bird's nest filled with eggs. The artist's meticulous attention to detail and careful handling of paint creates a tender portrayal of new life. The painting is beautifully presented in a gilt-effect frame with a double card mount. Signed in the lower left and dated 1882. On paper.

Condition

The overall condition of the artwork is good. Minor discolouration to the watercolour and card mount.
