A fine original 19th Century British school watercolour in grisaille, depicting a church or cathedral interior with two monks. Large stone piers can be seen, with a view of a ruined chapel. Well-presented in a double card mount and gilt wooden frame, as shown. Signed indistinctly, On wove.
Condition
In very good condition for a picture of this age. There is some light even surface discolouration to the page. The frame has some small surface marks.
