Dutch School - Superb Original 18th Century Watercolour. A very finely painted example, possibly by a follower of one of the Dutch Masters such as Gerrit Dou, Caspar Netcher, van Ostade or van Schendel. It has a superb method of fine stippling throughout (e.g. the use of fine dots of colour to build up chiaroscuro, treatment of light and shade). Unsigned. On laid. In excellent condition.
