Description

A striking perspective drawing of St Mark's Square by British artist Derek Bridgwater. Dominating the east end of the scene, St Mark's basilica sits with its grand domes and Romanesque carvings. In the foreground tourists can be seen gathered at the front of the building, feeding the pigeons and admiring the cathedral's exquisite architecture. The drawing has been signed by the artist to the lower right and dated 1970. Presented in a white card mount and white coloured frame.
On laid paper.

Condition

Some debris under the glazing to the lower edge. Scuffs and scratches noticeable on the white painted frame.
