Striking from the off. This Modern British oil captures a elevated view over a harbour town with clay tiled houses bunched together between sea water and headland. The artist has used bold, blocky brushstroke to portray the many building laid across the scene. The oil has been signed by the artist to the lower right. Well-presented in a rustic wood frame, painted a pure white.

Condition
Abrasion marks noticeable on the surface of the oil, particularly in the top right and lower left corner. Minor paint loss noted to the large house in the centre of the scene. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
