A large collection of refreshing watercolour landscapes by British artist, David William Burley (1901-1990), celebrating his many travels at home and abroad.
Painted in his later years, this collection encompasses a colourful view of the British countryside, coastal destinations, and agricultural scenes of the 1980's. Most of the works presented in this folio are signed and dated by the artist.

Artist Biography
A painter and poster designer born in Greenwich, David W Burley studied at Goldsmiths School of Art. He subsequently worked as a poster artist and painter, designing posters for Southern Railway, British Railways and produced publicity material for Hovis.
Burley exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours , the Royal Academy and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. He was a Member of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers and lived in Birchington-on-Sea, Kent.
