A wonderful late Victorian watercolour capturing the back alley of the Rose & Crown Pub in Plymouth. The watercolour has been well-presented in a gilt wood frame with a wash-line mount. Signed, dated and inscribed by the artist to the lower edge. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing. There are a couple of small creases in the wash-line mount. The frame is in very good condition.
