A fine late 19th/early 20th century seascape with figures in rowing boats off a coast, battling rough waves. There is a faint pencil inscription on the reverse of the stretcher which reads 'P. Lee'. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some scattered old repairs patched to the reverse. Varnish is uneven in areas.
