Artist Biography
Colin Williamson studied at Manchester School of Art and subsequently had a varied career including service in the R.A.F. and teaching in higher education. He became a full-time artist in 1978 and has since enjoyed travelling across Britain in order to capture its varied landscapes in watercolour. He lives near Whitby, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, and is still painting today.
