A delicate and charming oil painting by the artist Claude Horsfall, depicting Sutton-in-Craven near Keighley in Yorkshire, England. Signed in the lower right hand corner, with a further inscription and signature on reverse, as shown. Well presented in a vintage white painted wooden frame. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On canvas board.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor surface dirt. The frame contains minor scuffed edges and very slight discolouration. Overall in good condition.

Artist Biography
Painter of landscapes in oil who was a house decorator by trade. Skipton born and bred, he was encouraged by Reginald Brundrit and he painted many Yorkshire Dales scenes as well as the Lakes and in Scotland.
