Charles Turner - Original 1826 Mezzotint. Laid on newspaper. After a painting T.R. Davis Esq. Student of the Royal Academy, London. 'Philip Payne - Huntsman to His Grace the Duke of Beaufort on his Favourite Horse (Cherrington) with Hounds'. Signed in plate. Wormholes towards bottom of plate as pictured. Trimmed at plate with some wear to edges, and mount burn as pictured.
