Charles Hardaker is a painter, born in Oxford who studied at Birmingham School of Art and at the RCA, London. Primarily a landscape and still-life painter, he has exhibited his work at the RA, RP and NEAC and is represented in the Tate Gallery, the Guildhall of London, the GLC, the Institute of Civil Engineers and the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth. Hardaker was elected NEAC in 1969 and is also a member of the RBA. Hardaker has been the recipient of many art awards and one of his recent achievements was winning the coveted de Laszlo art medal in 2005. Hardaker has also been a finalist three times in the prestigious Hunting Art Prize.
