This delightful watercolour scene by Charles Geir White, depicts a moored sailing boat stopping off at Northfleet, on the River Thames. Figures can be seen strolling in front of the boatman's cottage on a cloudy summer's day. Fixed to the reverse is a label providing some historical provenance to the work. The painting is well presented in a wash-line mount and slim gilt frame. Glazed. On paper.
