The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some very minor discolouration to the edges of the paper. Very light crease marks to the edges of the paper.

Artist Biography
Charles Ancelin (1863-1940) was a French illustrator specialising in equestrian drawing, most notably horse racing, military equestrian, and trotting scenes rendered in the Art Deco style. He was most prolific during the early part of the 20th century, exhibiting widely from 1910 until the late 1920's when his style fell out of favour.
