Description

A vibrant watercolour scene with gum arabic. The artist has utilised the vibrancy of the watercolour to create a dramatic coastal scene, showing a young woman in a red dress, clinging to the edge of a cliff looking out over the crashing waves throwing themselves up on the rocks. The artist has signed to the lower right corner and inscribed "Lucy" to the lower edge. The painting is laid to grey card, on the back of which the artist has signed. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including minor discolouration to the paper. The paintings vibrancy is still strong.
