A fine continental coastal scene featuring figures walking along the waterside, sailing boats on the water, and a town and mountain visible on the opposite bank. Very well-presented in an ornate gilt frame with a reeded outer edge and acanthus leaf detailing to the corners and a linen slip. Signed to the lower-right edge. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
There is some very slight surface dirt but overall in fine condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
