C.M. Forster - Original 1882 Watercolour. Inscribed and dated on the reverse. A panoramic scene painted on two sheets, plus there is a second coastal view on the reverse of one of the sheets. There are some small holes in the lower section of both sheets as shown.

Collection Information

From a sketchbook of small charming watercolours by C.M. Forster, depicting views around the UK. Many of the paintings were inscribed and dated on the facing page when in the sketchbook, and these have been used for the titles and dates in the listings. As a result, many have an inscription on the reverse which does not apply to the painting on the front. Dated 1877-1885. We are unfortunately unable to find out any additional information about this artist.
