A charming 19th Century oil painting by British artist C.E. Stubbs. The verdant colour palette and subtle use of impasto gives this piece a hazy, nostalgic quality. The artist has beautifully captured the essence of the farm during the summer months. Well presented in a wood effect frame and slip. Signed on the reverse.On canvas.

Condition

There is discolouration to the varnish and some scuff marks to the frame, as shown. Overall the appearance is very good.
