Artist Biography
Bryn Richards was born in Roath, Cardiff in 1922. He studied at Cardiff School of Art before enlisting in the Navy. His Naval career saw him travel the world to places such as Sri Lanka and New Zealand. After leaving the military, Richards became an art critic for the Guardian, and the Anglo-Welsh Review while working on his own pieces. His long artistic career saw him exhibit across the country. After turning 100 years old earlier this year, Bryn Richards auctioned many of his artworks with proceeds going to Cardiff charity City Hospice.
