Description

Steel plate hand coloured engraving depicting Wells Cathedral, Somerset. Drawn by Hablot Browne, engraved by Benjamin Winkles. In 1836 Winkles produced and helped to engrave three volumes of "Winkles's architectural and picturesque illustrations of the cathedral churches of England and Wales". Presented in a cream card mount measuring 24cm x 27cm. Signed in plate.
