Description

An interesting oil composition by British artist Barbara P. Morgan, depicting the coastal town of Llandudno in north Wales. Well presented in a modern wood frame with gilt effect detailing. Signed in the lower right hand corner with an inscribed Bond Gallery, Birmingham, label on reverse, as shown. Signed. On canvas.

In fine condition. The frame contains some minor scuffed edges.

Artist Biography

Barbara P. Morgan was a contemporary British artist, who primarily worked in pastel and watercolour. Barbara instils a sense of vibrancy and dynamism within her compositions, well suited to her chosen medium. Her work has been exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London, and the Laing Art Gallery. Her husband Edward was also an artist, and both of their collections have been acquired by Sulis Fine Art.
