Austin Blomfield - Original 1936 Watercolour. Monogrammed and Dated. On board. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Creases to top right corner of card border, not affecting the main image. Small minor spots of surface dirt and foxing across picture. Austin Blomfield (1895-1967) was a British architect who was the son of renown architect and designer Sir Reginald Blomfield (1856-1942). They were in practice together and Austin Blomfield continued the firm after Sir Reginald Blomfield's death in 1942.

From a family archive of sketchbooks and works containing graphite sketches, watercolours and studies of architecture and landscapes by the British architect and designer, Sir Reginald Blomfield RA (1856-1942), and his son Austin Blomfield (1895-1967).
