Sheep graze on an autumnal woodland footpath in this charming Impressionist oil. The painting is unsigned; however, an inscription to the reverse of the board attributes the work to Scottish artist Thomas Hamilton Crawford (1860–1934). Well presented in a rustic frame. On canvas board.
Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age, including some discolouration. Slight warping to the board. Scuffs and stable cracking to the frame. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
