He exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, London Salon, Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, Royal Academy and Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours. He is recorded as having lived at Llandudno, and later at Crowborough in East Sussex.
