Description

A charming depiction of Dover Castle looking steadfast on top the town's famous chalk cliffs. Figures can be seen to the foreground walking the jetty. The watercolour has been well presented in a gilt effect frame. Labelled to the reverse with provenance from the David Cross Gallery, Bristol. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.
