Description

This fine watercolour of considerable size shows a misty tarn (lake) in Cumberland, England. The foreground is covered with heather and gorse. The tips of the hills fade into a misty sky. The artist has signed and inscribed to the back of the painting itself.

The painting is presented in a glazed, black frame with white card mount.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame is in fine condition.
