Arthur Kemp Tebby was a painter born in Bloomsbury, London. The 1891 census records him as an artist, illustrator and sculptor living in Lamb's Conduit Street, Holborn, London. Between 1883-1928 Tebby exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in London. He also submitted sketches to the journals of the day such as The Graphic and Illustrated London News. Examples of his work are held in the collections of Barnet Local Studies & Archives, Chelmsford Museum and Art Gallery and Kelmarsh Hall, Northamptonshire. Tebby died in Heybridge, Essex.
