An original watercolour by British artist Arthur B. Rigby (fl.1902-1926), depicting the bridge at Tal-y-Bont, Gwynedd. The watercolour has been signed by the artist to the lower left. Well-presented in an ornate giltwood frame with several running patterns to the inner window and outer edge. Fix to the reverse of the frame is a label of biographical information about the artist. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing. The gilt-effect frame is in good condition with minimal wear and stable cracking.
