An original early 20th century watercolour with body color, depicting farmhands gathering straw into manageable sheave, ready to be transport back to the farm to use as animal bedding or as a raw material for thatched roofing. The arable themed watercolour is signed to the lower left-hand corner. Well presented in a white card mount and decorative soft wood frame. Glazed. On paper.

There are a few small flecks of debris caught beneath the glazing. Otherwise in fine condition.
